Remedial massage is focused on treating pain, dysfunction, supports post injury or post operation rehabilitation. The remedial massage is a clinical, goal oriented, and result driven treatment. It focused on treating mild or chronic pain, support post injury, post operation rehabilitation. During a clinical massage appointment, we’ll start with an initial consultation and assessment. I’ll ask you a few question to better assess your condition, including any areas of discomfort or concern. To ensure that massage is both safe and effective, I also perform a series of simple orthopaedic tests. These tests help me assess any musculoskeletal issues that could be contributing to discomfort and pain. Remedial clinical massage often includes techniques like stretching, trigger points therapy and positional release. This approach may feel different from what you’ve experiences in a spa setting.
